A Step-by-Step Guide
Are you a student migrating from the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education to another educational board? Well, for that you are supposed to get a migration certificate. Don’t worry, we have got it covered! For applying to your FBISE migration certificate, this guide is going to walk you through the process with as much ease and less frustration as possible.
What is a Migration Certificate?
Instead of that, let me define briefly what a migration certificate is before we move on to the application process. It is an official statement that allows the holder to traverse their academic records from one educational board to the other, much like an academic passport, but now we get to switch between educational systems!
Application Process: A Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Initiate Your Application
Log in to the FBISE website and click the “Migration Certificate” link. Here, you’ll initiate an application.
Step 2: Insert Registration Number
Once you are at the right destination, insert your registration number at FBISE. This is your identity number, so don’t write it wrong!
Step 3: Search and Choose Your References
Once the page loads up, there will be a field to enter your registration number. Next, you will have to specify your references. These are your class, year of exams you appeared in, and roll number to help the FBISE find your records.
Step 4: Challan
Now comes the challan part. Your challan is a payment slip. You have two options there, either:
1. Make a new challan yourself.
2. If you have already generated any challan, then enter the challan no.
Step 5: Enter Details
You must now fill in all the details needed in your application. Do this patiently and check the information twice so that everything is correct.
Step 6: Submit Application
Check that the information on the form is correct and click the “Submit” button. Congratulations! Your application has been submitted into the system.
Step 7: All you need to do is wait for your certificate.
After submitting your application, the FBISE will verify whether you have paid the fee or not. After that, they will send a scanned copy of the migration certificate to you via email. Isn’t that a neat trick?
