ALIBABA DIGITAL TALENT GROUP GRANT AWARDED TO IIUI

The Ministry of Commerce in Pakistan referred an opportunity for digital transformation and e-commerce training from Alibaba Global Digital Talent Group to universities in Pakistan. 22 universities applied for the grant, but only two were selected, including the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). Dr. Nishwa Iqbal, Assistant Director BIC, coordinated with the Alibaba team and prepared a proposal which was then finalized and submitted by the BIC team at IIUI. The BIC team presented the proposal and highlighted the importance of digital transformation and e-commerce through various online sessions.

IIUIIIUI’s Vice President (R&E) congratulated the BIC team for getting this opportunity and stated that the training will bring many benefits to IIUI, including fame, image building, and entrance to the Chinese market through Alibaba.

ALLAMA MUHAMMAD IQBAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR AFGHAN STUDENTS

The Pakistani government is providing 4500 scholars with scholarships to help Afghan youth enhance their potential in a variety of sectors, including management, computer science, engineering, agriculture, and medicine.
